Is It Right For Me?
Almost all homes can take advantage and what solution best suits your needs depends on a range of factors, including the direction of your roof, the existing water heating system and your budget.
During a survey we would assess your situation and discuss with you the best configuration to meet your needs.
What Is Solar Thermal
For domestic hot water there are three main components: solar panels, a heat transfer system, and a hot water cylinder. Solar panels - or collectors - are fitted to your roof. They collect heat from the sun's radiation. The heat transfer system uses the collected heat to heat water. A hot water cylinder stores the hot water that is heated during the day and supplies it for use later.
Solar Thermal is ideally suited to those with a heated swimming pool or thinking about installing one, customers benefit from the shortest payback times and can considerably increase the outdoor swimming season.
Warranty and Maintenance
Our solar hot water systems generally come with a 10 - 25 year warranty (manufacturer dependent) and require very little maintenance.
No annual servicing is required, however we do recommend a yearly inspection to ensure the system is operating at maximum efficiency.
